Detroit Thermal, LLC's Customer Service Department was assembled with one goal in mind: to provide our customers the ultimate in customer service and support. Whether performing a labor intensive valve change or simply offering advice to a customer on how to operate their steam system more efficiently, the customer service department exists solely for the benefit of our customers. By combining expertise in fields like electronics, HVAC and metering, we are able to offer our customers specialized support in anything related to the safe and eficient use of steam. Our customers are our #1 asset.

During the summer "off-season, "we are busy maintaining our meters and performing service work at various customer locations. The service work helps to keep our customers operating efficiently and safely, while the meter work helps to ensure that customer steam data is accurate. Meters are calibrated on an annual and semi-annual basis depending on the type of meter used. Additionally, we are currently working to upgrade many of the older meters in the system. This eliminates the need to estimate customer bills due to malfunction, and helps us better serve our customers by providing more direct insight into usage and load data. We then use the data to help operate our various steam-generating facilities more efficiently. This ultimately leads to a more economical, higher quality product being delivered to you, our customer.
