Management Team

Mr. Pucak has over 25 years experience in the district energy industry. He has held positions with increasing responsibilities during his career in Youngstown, Akron, Cleveland, St Louis, Boston, Richmond, Martinsville and Hohenwald. Mr. Pucak has served as a board member of the International District Energy Association and has been actively involved in various seminars and training activities of the association.

Mr. Pucak was named President of Detroit Thermal in January, 2012.

Brian joined Detroit Thermal in 2003 as Accounts receivable and Accounts payable Specialist. In 2006 he took over the position of Human Resource Generalist. He was promoted to Human Resource Manager in 2007.

Before joining Detroit Thermal, Brian held accounting positions with Universal Container in Ferndale, MI and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan in Southfield.

Scott Barr has 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, consulting and business development. He began his career as an account representative with the chemical division of Occidental Petroleum Corporation.

 After several years as a sales and maketing consultant, Scott started with Detroit Thermal in 2009 as an account executive. In early 2010 he became Director of Business Development and also has account management responsibility for all of Detroit Thermal's largest customers and prospects.

Ron began his career at Detroit Thermal in  2003 as a shift supervisor and was promoted to his current position as Plant Manager in 2008.

Ron has over 30 years experience in power generation and heating plants. His background includes positions in the paper industry as well as in the automotive sector.
